PAMSA: Engineering Bursary Programme 2021

Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa (PAMSA) is offering Engineering Bursary Programme 2020 / 2021.

The Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa, through its Process Research Unit, is awarded to a select number of BSc Chemical Engineering students to further their Master’s Degree in Engineering studies. Beneficiaries will receive bursary support amounting to R130,000 per year for a period of two (2) years. In addition, the successful candidates may look forward to acquiring a high level of expertise if the fields of chemical analysis, wood science, energy and material balance, material flow analysis including separation techniques and process modeling.

Who should apply?

The ideal candidate must be able to meet these minimum requirements in order to be considered eligible to apply:

  • Holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering qualification or in the final year of studies pursuing the same
  • Must be pursuing or intending to pursue a Masters degree in any of the following universities
    • Stellenbosch
    • Pretoria
    • North West
    • WITS

Requirements

Must have a keen interest in Masters degree in Biotechnology related to the paper, pulp and packaging industry Completed their BSc qualification within 5 years or even less Must have a solid academic background with at least a 60% GPA in the final year of study
